Sineat and Joe are hitched! There ceremony had me in tears! These two are so loved and have so much love between them, words can’t describe how beautiful and intimate their wedding was. But… an image can! Here is one of thousands. Literally… thousands from their day.

I had so much fun with Brittany and Royce! We had an awesome time romping around Atlanta, getting accosted by the homeless, and almost getting our cars locked in a parking lot! Their love is so sweet it makes my teeth hurt! Here are just a few of many, many favorites from their shoot!

Babies! I often find my biological alarm go off during newborn sessions. When I say biological alarm I mean it. I start to panic. I can’t lie. A tiny human being is capable of nesting in my belly. If that is not alarming, I’m not sure what is. Maybe when I actually have one my anxiety will subside.
Needless to say, I only reserve newborn/baby/maternity session to people I hold very dear… and that are OK with my reluctant and cautious nature regarding holding or touching their tiny, fragile, new offspring.
With that said— Meet Cameron! Taylor and Kat made this little guy! It’s like magic! Isn’t he amazing!? He was so chill… but ALERT! He was so curious as to what was going on…. that I’m surprised we caught a few of him with his eyes closed. Towards the end of the shoot, he became so exhausted from his feeding and from trying to stay awake that he slowly drifted into his dream world… making these photos… absolutely dreamy!
Enjoy.

An amazing day in Brasstown Valley…
Walking back to my hotel room, I couldn’t help but smile at everyone I saw. I was giddy! The day could not have been any more perfect! The details, the crew, the guests, and the stunning, laid back, and blissfully happy couple!
The view overlooking their ceremony and reception site was breath taking…. and I will never forget their bagpiper that played off in the distance during their ceremony. Not to mention Chinese wish lanterns– which I must say are the coolest things I’ve ever seen!
Muffin and Puffin, Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your dreamy fairy tail wedding! Live happily ever after!
I had the pleasure of working with an amazing team of vendors:

Last year I had the absolute pleasure spending a couple of hours for a maternity shoot with two gorgeous expecting parents— Danielle and JD. One year later… I finally get to meet their little man Jaxen and he is absolutely adorable! We were lucky enough to plan a quick shoot the day before his first birthday party. Danielle wanted to make sure we capture a few shots with Jaxen and his favorite things…. some of which included a duck, bottle caps, and the iPad…Â Already we have so much in common! We both get cranky when we’re hungry, tired, and we both drool over Apple products.
There are definitely more to come… but enjoy a few that caught my eye early on.

I met Courtney and Clayton for the first time at Menchies! Surprisingly, this was my first experience here and I must say I’m a fan! I generally force most of my prospective clients to meet me at a FroYo joint… for a few of reasons. 1— it’s the best thing since sliced bread 2— it’s the bees knees 3— it’s the jam.
No… but really, I feel almost as if it is my life’s mission to spread the Frozen Yogurt Love. I really like how I don’t feel guilty eating it because it’s “yogurt” .. it has probiotics and calcium!! It’s not really ice scream. Plus I can justify going several times a week if it’s for “work.”
The truth is out.
Within the first 5 minutes of meeting with Courtney and Clayton, I knew we would get along! We were quoting youtube videos and sharing inappropriate family stories before we even finished our yogurt. This past weekend, we continued our fun at the Goat Farm in Atlanta exploring the grounds of this visual oasis. We completed our shoot at their house in order to feature their small furry children Optimus Prime and Anemone. Needless to say, I had so much fun and I can’t wait for their wedding in the fall!
Here are a few I snagged while loading my memory cards on the computer!
Enjoy!

Kellie and Chad are awesome! We met for Fro Yo! last fall to discuss their wedding plans and I immediately fell in love with them! They are super active and they are smitten over their two pups — my kind of people!
I can’t wait until their wedding day at Brasstown Valley in June!

So… let me just start of by saying… I had the most incredible trip of my LIFE… and I owe it all to this amazing couple–James and Mia. These two are the kindest, most open minded, accepting, humble, ______ (insert the most thoughtful adjective you could possibly think of here) couple… I’ve ever met.
The 2 weeks I experienced in Thailand was by far one of my favorite travel adventures of all time. The chemistry, the love, the people, the location. I honestly couldn’t have dreamt a more perfect scenario…. sighhhhh. So perfect that it took me weeks to get out of vacay hangover mode.
It so happens that I have something like 350 gigs of images to go through from this trip. The funny thing is, I’m not even exaggerating. 6 Total weeks abroad and I was very close to filling up my entire 500 gig drive. Needless to say… it will be awhile before I post any images… but I did; however stumble upon these gems while clearing off my cards for the upcoming weddings this weekend.
Again this is merely scratching the surface.. more to come within the next… eh, decade?
————
Uh.. before I exit left… I’d like to make a TRL shout out (eh… yes what is that? circa 2000? )…
—to every Australian that I happened to meet. Because of you— I want to move to your country. Amy & Holly– for being awesome travel buddies who shared many a jars of Nutella & Peanut butter, sang “one night in Bangkok” without knowing any additional lyrics to that song, along with “I come from a land down under” whilst incorporating this skit about 1.2 million times. And lastly, I can’t forget to thank Kristi Odom for inviting me to be a part of this dreamy wedding. She is by far one of the most talented, influential, and inspiring people that I’ve been so lucky to know. I probably wouldn’t have gone down the path that I have if it weren’t for her. So I can honestly say I owe my wedding photography career to this woman.
… alright Carson you can have mic back.

I was lucky enough to witness the first few days of Carol & Patrick’s new life as parents. Conner Vinh Drinkard was welcomed into the world mid March with open arms and a warm community of friends and family.
It’s funny because I kept asking Carol and Patrick questions about what it feels like to be parent’s and their response to me 99% of the time was… “oh you’ll see…” or “you just wait…” Which makes me wonder if it’s best to take photos of babies than to have my own! Kind of the same thing right?
Congratulations Carol & Patrick!!
Here are a few of my favorites from there shoot! <3!!
